Pink Mahjong Tiles
Pink mahjong tiles for American play, in three shades: pearlescent light pink, pastel pink and hot pink.
Every set has 160 tiles with white or ivory faces, so the color stays on the backs and the hand stays easy to read.
Racks and mats are sold separately; pink ones are linked below.
Which shade of pink are these tiles?
Three shades, from soft to bold. Roselle has pearlescent light pink backs with ivory faces and a red middle band. Begonia has pastel pink backs and a layered edge in lavender and lime green. Fuchsia has hot pink to magenta backs on four-layer acrylic.
Are these sets complete for American mahjong?
Each set has the 160 tiles the National Mah Jongg League card calls for, Jokers included. They are sold as tiles only: racks, pushers and a mat are not in the box.
Will the pink backs make the tiles hard to read?
No. The faces stay white or ivory on all three sets, so the suits, winds and Jokers read the same as on any other set. Only the backs and edges carry the color.
What goes with pink tiles?
The Maple pink racks hold the tiles in the same color family, and the Pagoda pink mat keeps an open cream center, so the faces stand out during play. For separate storage and transport, browse our mahjong bags and check dimensions. For other colors, see all American mahjong tiles.
