The 2027 American mahjong card has not been released yet. It is published once a year by the National Mah Jongg League and arrives each April. This page tracks what is publicly known about the 2027 edition, and how to order it the moment it is available.
American mahjong is played against a printed card of hands. That card, not the tiles, decides what counts as a winning hand for the year. A hand that does not match one of its lines does not win, however good it looks on your rack.
Every player at the table needs her own copy. Sharing one card between four people is the single most common reason a new group stalls in its first month.
The League publishes a new card annually and retires the previous year's hands when it does. The American Mah-Jongg Association publishes an annual card of its own, used by some groups and by most cruise and tournament play.

The prices above are the League’s published 2026 figures, shown for reference. We will not guess at 2027 pricing before the League announces it, this page is corrected, not predicted.
The League sells the card through its own store. Listings you may find elsewhere are resellers rather than an official channel, buying direct is the surest way to receive the current year’s edition, and it supports the organisation that produces it.
Orders from outside the United States carry additional postage, quoted after ordering, and must be paid in US funds.

We do not publish the hands. Not this year's, not last year's, not a summary, not a “which hand should I play” tool. The card is the League's copyrighted work, and the hands are the whole of it. Sites that reproduce them put both themselves and their readers in an awkward position.
